Biography: 

Having made his Super Rugby debut in 2006, Kahui’s initial bid for higher honours was hampered by injury, with the centre missing most of the 2007 Super Rugby season.
The 26-year-old would not be denied the following year, making his debut against Ireland and going on to play a further seven Tests that year.
However, injury would again strike in 2009 with a shoulder aliment keeping him out of international action. Despite a return to fitness in 2010, the presence of Ma’a Nonu and Conrad Smith in the All Black midfield meant that Kahui’s opportunities were limited.
