Born in Gdynia, she won the bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics, narrowly beating Monika Pyrek, another Polish pole vaulter born in Gdynia. Early 2005 brought success as she won the silver medal in the European Indoor Championships. On July 22, 2005 in London, she achieved a personal best with 4.80 m, which was also the Polish record. Minutes later she saw Yelena Isinbayeva become the first woman to clear 5.00 m. Rogowska was among the contenders for a medal in the 2005 World Championships. She finished sixth, however, jumping only 4.35 m under challenging weather conditions. On August 26, 2005 she achieved another personal best with 4.83 m (new Polish record). This was on the Memorial van Damme. She also has the Polish indoor record of 4.80 m, set on 5 March 2006.

Biography:
Mi Sun Cho moved from Korea to Melbourne, Australia in late 1999. Like many Korean golfers, she moved to a Western country to have better access to golf courses and training.
In the past couple of years, she has quickly risen to be one of the top junior players in the country, and is nationally ranked in the seniors as well. At the 2003 Australian Amateur championships, she really made a name for herself. Not only did her team of herself and fellow young Korean Claire Choi win the foursome title, but Cho herself made it all the way to the finals in singles. She lost that match, but at times had as much as a 3 up advantage.
Mi Sun also won the Australian Junior Championship in 2004, and backed that up by successfully defending in 2005, leading the three round event from start to finish. She won by four shots despite a punishing 80 in the third round. The second and third place finishers were Sarah Oh and Helen Oh (no relation), also Korean. Mi Sun became only the third player to win more than one Junior Girl's Championship in Australia; one of the others was current LPGA golfer Gloria Park.
Eventually, Cho went to college in America at Pepperdine, where she was a freshman in 2006-2007. She has already had success there, leading her team to a victory at the prestigious Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in February, 2007. Pepperdine beat 14 nationally ranked teams at this event, and Cho won the individual honors as top player as well.
Cho turned pro after her freshman year and joined the Canadian Women's tour. She played well enough there to qualify for the Canadian Women's Open, where she finished a solid 34th.

Biography:
Hyo Joo Kim is an amateur who began making big noise with her talent as a 14 year old in 2009.
That year, she played brilliantly at two KLPGA Major championships. At the Hite Cup, she was one of the leaders after the first round, and was even fifth as late as the start of the fourth round. At that point she stumbled somewhat, but still compiled an impressive T-13th result. At the KB Star Tour Grand Final, she was again in the top five after the first round, but ended up tied for 34th.
In 2010, she led Korea to a victory at the Queen Sirikit Cup, an important team event. She also won individual honors thanks to a final round 65. She was 8 shots ahead of the next player in the field. Later in the year, she finished tied for third at the Rush & Cash Charity Classic on the KLPGA tour.
Despite her quality amateur results, she was not one of the three golfers chosen to represent Korea at the 2010 Asian Games. That squad won the team gold and individual gold without her, showing just how deep they are.
Hyo Joo continued to be a top junior golfer over the next two seasons. In July of 2010, she won the R&A Junior Open Girls golf title in Fife, Scotland, by three shots; Korean New Zealander Cecilia Cho was third.
In 2011, she was again on Korea's squad for the Queen Sirikit Cup. She finished second, one shot out of the gold medal spot, but Korea won the team gold by four shots. Later in the year, she achieved a major coup by claiming the Callaway Junior World Golf Championship, winning the 15-17 year old division by five shots. She was not able to qualify for the US Women's Amateur later that summer, however, only achieving alternate status.
She had some good results on the KLPGA tour in 2011. In June, she finished tied for 5th at the Woori Investment & Securities Ladies Championship. She led the Korean Women's Open after the first and second round, but a poor weekend reduced her to 15th. She also had a 9th at the Lotte Mart Women's Open.
